We are a Two Car Family!

After three (pain in the ass) years of only having one car, we finally have a second! Though we weren't very picky, we had a tight budget and weren't optimistic that we'd find something worthwhile. Luckily, friends of ours had a relative getting rid of a great car at a steal.

Here's my new girl! A 2003 Volkswagen Passat with all kinds of fancy features like heated seats and a moon roof. Its powder blue and in amazing condition. With only 44,000 miles on it and a $5,000 asking price, how can you pass that up?

Now, no more crazy coordination of schedules to do simple things like run errands, take C to the doctor, or get a haircut during my lunch break. The next step is to finish up all of the registration paperwork and buy another car seat. I feel like I'm 16 again - so excited to have a set of wheels!
