Activities of the Halloween Persuasion
October has to be our favorite month of the entire year. Aside from the fact that our anniversary and Charlie's birthday are this month, we absolutely love harvest festivals, apple cider, pumpkins, leaves - the works. While we were in the area for Lisa's baby shower, we stopped by my sister's house for some fall fun. We went to Roba's Family Farm to pick pumpkins, tackle the corn maze, and see the petting zoo. Though it was hot as all blazes up in the mountains, we had a great time!
The boys had a blast and though C wasn't big enough to run around the huge playground, he enjoyed the slide and pumpkins. I absolutely love taking C everywhere we go and can't wait until he's a bit bigger and can really enjoy what we're doing. In the meantime, thank goodness for the Beco carrier. Our stroller would have been a complete waste walking around the muddy, hay covered ground and the carrier made it easy and comfortable to hold him.
After pumpkin picking, we went to my Dad's house for dinner. Grandpa is going to run out of lap pretty soon!

Awesome pictures! My husband and I go to the pumpkin patch every year and this is the first year that we'll have our son there with us! I'm really excited!
